When the snow falls heavily all day I find that twilight point an ordinary magic. The stillness, the quietness of dusk brings an extraordinary light and everything feels like poetry to me. Everything settles under the luminous sky as night falls. Finishing a ski tour, after you have skied back down – the feeling when you look back up to where you’ve been is pretty special. The snow laden trees of Prodain through which you can look up to Avoriaz and see a few lights is absolutely ‘Ordinary magic’. Quietness settles in for the night. It’s beautiful.
